Roll the World Stars (Rebirths)
Last updated:

Stars are how you rebirth in roll the world. When your ball is big enough, it "becomes a star in the sky" and you start again tiny, but you grow faster each time. Your 6th star, at size 300, launches you off Earth and into space.

How making a star works
When you reach the size for your next star, a purple MAKE A STAR prompt appears above your ball ("star spin + grow faster"). Press it and a confirmation opens. Your ball becomes a star in the sky and you start again small. You keep your stardust, upgrades, finds and skins. In return you get a higher growth multiplier and a star spin. You can also press "not now" and keep growing. That is how some players reach 500+ studs with 0 stars.

Star sizes
| Star | Size needed | Reward seen |
|---|---|---|
| Star 1 | 50 studs | Grow faster ×1.25 and the starmaker badge |
| Star 2 | 100 studs ("roll up midtown") | A higher growth multiplier to be verified |
| Star 3 | 150 studs to be verified | to be verified |
| Star 4 | 200 studs | Growth goes from ×1.35 to ×1.40, plus 1 star spin |
| Star 5 | 250 studs to be verified | to be verified |
| Star 6 | 300 studs | Leave Earth and get the leave earth badge |
The sizes for stars 1, 2, 4 and 6 come from on-screen text in RobloMine's video and from the official description. The pattern suggests a new star every 50 studs, which would put star 3 at 150 and star 5 at 250, but that is to be verified.

The star summary screen
After each star you see "your star life", a summary of the run you just finished. RobloMine's first star screen read:
- rolled up 5,423 things
- grew to 51.4 studs
- rarest of 8 finds: diamond brick shops (1 in 300, new best)
- ate 1 threat
- earned 12.0K stardust
- made it in 7m 43s
Then it says "you grow faster now! ×1.25" and "next star at 100 studs: roll up midtown!".

Start size
The start size upgrade has 9 levels and makes each new run start bigger. Going from level 4 to 5 changes the text "start at 4" to "start at 5". It is expensive (80,000 stardust at level 4), but it saves minutes on every run.
Star spins from stars
Stars give star spins, which roll random ball skins and trails. In RobloMine's video, one star screen unlocked a new ball skin called "Baseball".
Should you always make a star?
- Early on, yes. The multiplier stacks, so every run gets shorter.
- Wait a little if a server event is running (server luck or a meteor shower) and you want more finds first.
- Wait if you are close to a size badge like titan (300 studs) or rolled up the world (600 studs).
